真的是「台灣最有GUTS歐吉桑」，前衛生署長楊志良1日攜新台幣200萬元本票，到國民黨中央登記領表及連署書，確定投入黨內總統初選，並在個人臉書專頁上，發表「參選領表，連署啟動」一文，希望爭取黨員的支持。

楊志良上午10時在支持者陪同下領表，除備妥200萬元本票外，並秀出超過50年黨齡的黨證。對有人說他是B咖、C咖，他表示自己當然是A咖，因為沒有一個政務官跟他一樣有75%的滿意度，既然是A咖，就該代表最有歷史的國民黨參選下一任中華民國總統。

對於外傳馬總統鼓勵朱立倫參選總統，楊志良說，愈多能幹的人出來選是好的，大家不要用陰謀論、派系運作來看，就是開大門走大路，如果朱立倫登記參選，也是很好的事情。

面對接下來要連署1萬5000份以上的連署書，楊志良說，有很多朋友願幫忙，連署書份數是可以達到。目前藥師公會全國聯合會已宣布主動為楊志良連署，將透過全國7000多家藥局進行作業。

未來登記時須繳交700萬元作業費，楊志良表示，5月20日就可以開始募款，若募不到將宣布退選。但他很有信心表示，很多人都承諾了，不過他現在還不能說。
